Listen to Your Life (Frederick Buechner)

"Listen to your life. See it for the fathomless mystery that it is. In the boredom and the pain of it no less than in the excitement and gladness: touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it, because in the last analysis all moments are key moments, and life itself is grace. And Christ is here with us on our way as surely as the way itself is here that has brought us to this place. Christ is with us, as subtle and pervasive as air." (Frederick Buechner)

One of my favorite quotes. Thanks.
i followed a link from serena's place to check you out... you'll never know how much I needed this quote. a loved one is in the hospital bleeding into their brain... and being reminded how Christ is here, there & everywhere... well I needed the reminder. thank you.

I love Frederick Buechner, too, and particularly this wonderful quote. He is so cross/resurrection centered, to me, not afraid to go to the dark ploace, and see the light. I heard him speak once, at the Festival of Faith & Writing at Calvin College.

thanks so much for sharing.
